Unfortunately there is no information about Pouilly-Fuissé AOC available.
Description to Pouilly-Fuissé AOC
The municipal appellation is located as an enclave at the southern end of the Mâconnais area in Burgundy. However, it should not be confused with the Pouilly-Fumé area (main variety Sauvignon Blanc) on the Loire due to the similarity of its name. The Saint-Véran appellation is located to the south. The vineyards cover 760 hectares in the four communes of Chaintré, Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly and Vergisson. Site names may be used (but there are no Grand Cru or Premier Cru sites). White wines of the Chardonnay variety are allowed. To the south-east are the two satellite appellations Pouilly-Loché (may also use Mâcon-Loché or Pouilly-Vinzelles) and Pouilly-Vinzelles. Well-known producers of all three appellations are Daniel Barraud, Château de Beauregard, Château de Fuisse, Clos de Bourg, Cordier, Corsin, Michel Forest, Galley-Golliard, Groupement de Producteurs de Prissé, Guffens-Heynen, Roger Lassarat, Luquet, Olivier Merlin, Noblete, René Perraton, Saumaize-Michelin, Soufrandise, Valette, Verget and Vincent (Château de Fuissé)
