Description to Mór

The wine-growing region is located in the northwest of Hungary about 30 kilometers west of Budapest. The climate is characterized by long, warm summers with constant air movement and mild winters. The vineyards on quartz-rich soils over limestone cover about 900 hectares of vines. The area is known for its aromatic and spicy white wines. The main grape varieties are Ezerjó, Királyleányka, Leányka, Rajnairizling (Rhine Riesling) and Tramini (Gewürztraminer).
