Description to Coteaux de Loir AOC
The communal appellation lies to the north of the French region of Touraine (Loire). The vineyards, with just under 100 hectares of vines, are located on the right bank of the Loir. The red wine is blended from the varieties Pineau d'Aunis (at least 30%), Gamay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The rosé wine is made from Pineau d'Aunis, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Malbec and up to 25% Grolleau. The white wine is made from Chenin Blanc. Well-known producers are Chaussard, Fresneau, Gigou, Robinot and Rycke. In the north of the area, the Jasnières appellation is an enclave
