Description to Verona IGT
IGT area (also Provincia di Verona or Veronese) for white, red and rosé wines (country wines) in the Italian region of Veneto. It covers vineyards in the entire province of Verona. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. Dual varietal wines must be blended from 50 to 85% of the main grape variety, plus 15 to 50% of other grape varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed for each wine type, but no ageing periods.
