2020 Weinviertel DAC Ried Muschelberg Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Relatively fine, bright yellow-fruity nose with restrained vegetal aromas and smoky traces. Tart, bright, somewhat muted fruit, nutty to slightly woody tones, a hint of yeast, fine acidity, noticeable tannin, certain power, warmth and persistence, rooty tones in the background, salty mineral notes, good to very good, only again somewhat muted and drying finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2025+. What our ratings mean
