2016 Kamptal DAC Ried Schenkenbichl Riesling Reserve trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Yellow fruit on the nose, some yellow spice, delicate peppery traces, vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, delicate hint of bacon and tobacco. Ripe, sweetish, partly candied and preserved fruit on the palate, some more herbs and yellow spice, lively acidity, light tannic grip, persistent and full-bodied, peppery traces in the background, hint of dried flowers, still young, some depth, very good firm, juicy, slightly sweetish finish.
