2014 Kamptal DAC Ried Schenkenbichl Riesling Reserve trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly developed nose, pomaceous and stone fruit, light nutty and vegetal notes, hint of yellow spice. Ripe, initially rather calm, somewhat melting and also sweetish fruit with nutty, somewhat vegetable and yellow-spicy notes, acidity becoming more present with air, moderate grip, good persistence, tart mineral tones in the background, which become increasingly clear towards the end, relatively compact, a little muted on a very good finish. Slightly past its prime, but still very good.
