2008 Kamptal DAC Langenlois Grüner Veltliner trocken Vinum Optimum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Muted apple nose, nutty and earthy notes, some tobacco. Medium body, compact, slightly dissolute fruit on the palate, more earthy notes and tobacco, peppery notes in the background, mineral notes, integrated acidity, has some substance, fairly persistent, shows its origin, slightly muted on an otherwise good finish.
