2022 Blaufränkisch Landwein trocken "Out of the Dark", Weinland Austria, Austria

Rather tart, slightly smoky, transparent nose of predominantly black berries with dried herbaceous to tobacco nuances, a little cherry, hints of bread bark and pepper. Taut, incredibly juicy, clear, youthful fruit, lively acidity, zesty tones and a little pomegranate, very fine tannins, persistent, good depth, a hint of vanilla on the palate, ethereal herbal notes, orange zest, clear, chalky-salty minerality, lots of life, peppery hints in the background, finely spicy and very juicy on the finish.
