2022 Kamptal DAC Ried Heiligenstein Riesling Erste ÖTW Ried trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm and deep, somewhat smoky, reductive and clearly mineral scent with noble, cool citrus aromas, some peach, a hint of tobacco ash, mussels and tart herbal aromas. Taut, juicy, dense, rather bright fruit with fine, partly ethereal herbal spice, still slightly nutty-yeasty flavours and a hint of dark berries, very fine acidity, delicate grip, minerality in the background, still little developed, has density, depth and elegance at the same time, very good to long, firm finish with fine juice, rather dark background, minerality and herbal spice.
