2021 Kamptal DAC Ried Spiegel Grüner Veltliner Erste ÖTW Ried trocken "Vincent", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Very firmly woven, deep, cool, tart, distinctly vegetal aroma with restrained yellow fruity aromas, herbs, some smoke, nutty wood and a little chanterelle. Taut, still completely undeveloped, tangy fruit with vegetal and herbal notes, smoky-woody tones, lots of grip from ripe tannin and lively acidity, dense, deep and persistent on the palate, plenty of salt, also delicately peppery nuances, has power but also a certain coolness and enormous tension, very good to long, grippy, dense, multi-layered, yet downright gripping finish. Must be matured and will mature magnificently.
