Firmly knit, somewhat nutty, herbal and slightly yellow-spicy aroma of ripe stone and pome fruits with herbal nuances and floral traces. Tart, rather cool, firmly knitted fruit, clearly herbal to slightly herbaceous spice, lively acidity and grip, persistent and dense on the palate, almost a little smoky and also clearly salty minerality, still undeveloped, yet deep and complex, peppery traces, very good to long, taut, gripping finish with cool juice and again plenty of minerality.
Since the 2008 vintage, wine-legally defined DAC area (specific wine-growing region) in the Austrian wine-growing region of Lower Austria (generic wine-growing region). See under Kamptal.
