The winery is located in the municipality of Breisach am Rhein (Kaiserstuhl area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It was founded in 2016 by Tomislav Marković. The first vineyards were acquired in 2019 and planted with Sauvignon Blanc vines from the French Loire Valley. This was followed in 2021 by Spanish Touriga Nacional vines with special drought-tolerant rootstock, presumably planted for the first time in Germany.
The vineyards cover 0.5 hectares of vines owned by the winery (Baden); grapes are purchased from a further 0.5 hectares (Rheinhessen). They are located in the single vineyard sites Teufelsburg (Kiechlingsbergen), Eckberg (Bötzingen) and Käsleberg (Oberrotweil) in Baden, as well as Goldenes Horn and Heerkretz (Siefersheim) in Rheinhessen.
The white wine varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Touriga Nacional are processed. The vineyards are mainly cultivated by hand according to the rules of biodynamic viticulture (not certified). Particular emphasis is placed on strengthening biodiversity (variety of species), soil fertility and low yields.

Quality is differentiated according to location, age of the vines and yield reduction. The wines are vinified separately for each parcel. The cellar work is carried out according to the non-invasive principle of "as much as necessary, as little as possible". Gravity is used for transport and pumping is avoided as far as possible.
After spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts and cloudy racking, the white wines are stored for a long time on the fine lees. They are usually matured for 18 months in barrique or tonneau barrels. The wines are bottled without filtration and fining (with BSA for dry wines) or additives other than low sulphurisation. The assemblage before bottling is carried out in stainless steel. Other containers are made of ceramic or clay.
The company's premium wines include the two red wines Pinot Noir "On the Rocks" - From the volcanic soil (open mash fermentation with whole grape content, spontaneously fermented and foot-stomped, unfiltered, no fining, no pumping) and Pinot Noir "Parabole" - Old Vines - From loess loam soil over volcanic rocks (vinified in the same way as "On the Rocks", but with 100% whole cluster and lower yield) and the white wine Sauvignon Blanc "Siefersheimer Heerkretz" - Vom Porphyr (spontaneous fermentation in Slavonian oak, more oxidative ageing with a long 18 months lees ageing, no fining, no filtration if possible).
