2022 Spätburgunder Landwein "Windspiel", Oberrhein, Germany

Clear, rather cool, youthful, somewhat smoky nose, still a touch reductive, with more ripe red than black berries, pepper, some meat juice and dried herbs. Taut, tart, juicy, clear fruit with still a little yeasty-mealy tones, some smoke, nutty flavours and pepper again, a certain acid bite and very fine, youthful tannins, a little cassis and juniper, mineral tones in the background, certain depth, still undeveloped, very good, fine-juicy finish.
