2022 Chardonnay Landwein, Oberrhein, Germany

Nutty, yeasty and slightly tobacco citrus nose with smoky notes, pomaceous fruit, vegetal notes and a hint of butter. Ripe, clear, juicy fruit, nutty, yeasty and somewhat smoky tones, fine vegetal nuances, a hint of tobacco, has more substance than the moderate alcohol suggests, very fine acidity and a certain mellowness on the palate, certain barrel notes, a little butter, also light tobacco in the background, mineral notes, very good finish.
