2019 Weinviertel trocken Cuvée "Caro - Line", Rot, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm aroma of ripe black berries and a little Amarena cherry with dry herbal notes, a hint of tobacco and moderate barrel tones. Ripe dark fruit, tart and a little sweet at the same time, toasty, smoky and hints of sooty notes, present, slightly drying tannin, coffee grounds in the background, a little ash, good persistence, has power and warmth, a little rustic character, dark chocolate and dark fruit in the good to very good, if again slightly drying finish.
