2008 Pinot Noir trocken In Ölbergen, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart nose, partly preserved red and black berries, hint of cherries, vegetal, earthy and mineral notes. Clear, fairly smooth on the palate, ripe, predominantly dark fruit, slightly smoky oak, dark caramel and licorice, earthy and light vegetal notes, has some substance and persistence, slightly creamy on a good finish.
