2013 Thermenregion Ried Eichkogel trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Developed aroma of ripe black and some red berries with dried floral notes, a hint of musk, moderate wood tones, a little tobacco and earthy nuances. Tart dark fruit with slightly toasty and nutty wood, tobacco and cedary notes on the palate, fine sandy tannin, good persistence, lots of alcohol, earthy notes in the background, a little cocoa, very good, tart, slightly drying and again alcoholic finish with a hint of soot.
