2007 Süd-Steiermark Ried Altenberg Pinot Noir trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Slightly tart nose, red and some black berries, light herbaceous and vegetal notes, hint of citrus, some floral and mushroomy traces. Full-bodied, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, cool spice, delicate old oak, some dark chocolate, predominantly mature tannins, persistent, sugar candy, light mineral notes and sweetish spice in the background, quite creamy, but also has elegant acid bite, good to very good finish.
