Warm nose of mixed berries with dried vegetal and floral aromas and light earthy tones. Ripe, partly cooked, alcohol-warm fruit, somewhat sandy and drying tannins, nutty tones, a little chocolate, somewhat muted on the palate, hints of salt in the background, sooty wood notes, good, again alcohol-warm finish. Develops a little into the rustic.

Editor note: Relatively firm aroma of predominantly dark berries and some cherries with hints of ethereal spice and restrained barrel tones. Ripe, again rather dark fruit in the mouth, restrained toasty wood aromas, quite present, fine sandy tannin, a hint of bitter chocolate and coffee grounds, certain persistence and power, noticeable but integrated alcohol, earthy and peppery tones, also a little salt, good to very good, quite firm, tart finish.
