2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Zieregg Kapelle Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Deep and concentrated, emphatically tart-herbal, firm citrus scent with white and green berry aromas, hints of cassis, blackcurrant leaves and smoky minerality reminiscent of flint. Ripe, juicy, again very concentrated fruit, taut acidity and delicately sweetish melting, grippy on the palate, tart herbal-vegetable flavours, very slightly floral and dark berry in the background, smoky hints, intense minerality, possesses power, but also cooling elements, deep and gripping, long, taut, tart finish. Has time.
