2021 Leithaberg DAC Ried Steinberg Chardonnay trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Slightly warm, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and hints of bacon citrus on the nose, nutty notes. Clear, juicy, firm fruit with a delicate melt, hints of lemon verbena and dried mushrooms, lively, yet fine acidity, has some grip, good persistence, salty minerality, barrel wood and a hint of moss in the background, very good, again slightly warm finish with grip and noticeable, light wood.
