2018 Leithaberg DAC Ried Reckenschink Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Somewhat dried vegetal and earthy as well as a hint of tobacco aroma of ripe mainly dark berries and a little preserved cherries with herbal nuances. Tart fruit with smoky and somewhat bitter wood aromas, which integrate well with air, present, still slightly drying tannin, distinctly salty notes, good persistence, has power, peppery and dried herbal tones, still undeveloped, very good, again slightly bitter finish with dark juice and some warmth.
