2013 Leithaberg DAC Pinot Blanc trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly firm, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to dried herbaceous nose, yellow fruit, hint of mushrooms and pepper. Ripe, slightly warm fruit with delicately creamy, slightly roasted wood notes and hints of fennel, lively acidity, has some grip and persistence, salty minerality, hints of citrus zest and Thai mint, has power, a hint of hazelnut on a very good finish.
