2021 Leithaberg DAC Ried Halser Grüner Veltliner trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, somewhat vegetal and floral aroma of ripe yellow fruit with a hint of mustard cucumber, curry, light tobacco, crab meat, wood and mineral notes. Ripe, firm, tart fruit with nutty and smoky wood notes, some butter and vegetal notes, a little yellow spice on the palate, very fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, lots of power, salt and chalky tones, a hint of cocoa and coffee in the background, very good, firm, somewhat warm finish with persistence.
