2017 Leithaberg DAC Chardonnay trocken "Riefring Thal", Burgenland, Austria

Astringent, somewhat yeasty, almond-nutty, bacon and vegetal nose with light yellow-fruity aromas. Firm, ripe, again light fruit with equally light wood notes, lots of power, but also some acid bite, salty mineral tones, a little nutty, floral and vegetable on the palate, plenty of power, but also cooling elements and a certain grinding, becomes juicier with air, very good, firm finish with noticeable alcohol
