2015 Leithaberg DAC Ried Himmelreich Grüner Veltliner trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Light spicy, nutty oak on the nose,, somedried herbs and flowers, earthy notes, yellow fruit, prominent vegetal notes, peppery traces. Ripe, juicy, fairly concentrated fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, light oak, yellow spice, peppery traces, very elegant acidity, good substance and persistence, sweetish and creamy, very full-bodied, delicate oily notes, mineral notes in the background, integrated tannins provide some grip, buttery traces, light nutty oak and more sweetish sugar candy on a very good finish.

Editor note: Light vegetal and hebraceous notes on the nose, light oak with delicate smoky traces, ripe citrus and pomaceous fruit, earthy and mineral notes. Lots of ripe, sweetish, juicy fruit on the palate, full-bodied, warm and creamy, very elegant acidity, herbaceous and vegetal traces, light tannic touch. good substance and persistence, some depth, nutty traces, hint of tobacco, light peppery traces, noticeable mineral notes in the background, still quite young, light smoky oak, very good, long, juicy, minerally finish.
