2008 Süd-Steiermark Ried Zoppelberg Traminer lieblich Beste Riede, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Candied Mediterranean fruit on the nose, spicy with some rosewood, wilted leaves, mineral traces. Sweetish, polished, candied pomaceous fruit and caramelised mango on the palate, fairly prominent bitter notes, more wilted leaves, spicy, light mineral notes, integrated acidity, has some substance, but not particularly deep, complex but also slightly sharp on a very good finish.
