2006 Pinot Noir trocken Vinum Optimum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Straightforward, fairly youthful nose, herbs and spices, cherry fruit, earthy notes. Fairly youthful again on the palate, straightforward, clear, delicately juicy fruit, cherries and red berries, herbaceous notes, some chocolate, still undeveloped, has some potential and needs time, light mineral notes, integrated tannins, slightly sharp, noticeable acid bite, very good finish.
