2005 Kamptal Pinot Noir trocken Vinum Optimum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Still quite a youthful nose, cherries and red berries, light sweaty notes and some mushrooms, herbaceous notes in the background. Delicately tart red berries and some cherries on the palate, compact, cool fruit, delicate herbaceous notes and just a hint of oak, quite firm and still slightly closed, has some substance, very fine-grained but also slightly astringent tannins, delicate vegetal notes on a good finish.
