2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart, clearly dried-vegetable to herbal nose with white and yellow fruity aromas, a little black berries, hints of smoke, floral nuances and minerality. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, fine acidity and crumbly-sandy tannin, nutty, dried-vegetable to tobacco and slightly smoky notes, some power and warmth, good persistence, a little aubergine and courgette in the background, mineral tones, very good, quite firm, grippy finish with nutty, mineral and slightly bitter-tobacco notes.
