2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Zieregg Chardonnay trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm citrus pome fruit scent with herbal to slightly herbal, floral, somewhat smoky, nutty and clearly mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, melting fruit, nutty and smoky aromas, some wood spice, fine tannin and grip of ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, has power and some warmth but also cooling elements, especially plenty of minerality, good depth, quite compact structure, tobacco nuances, a hint of nut butter, very good, firm finish.
