2017 Süd-Steiermark Ried Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart, fairly firm nose, prominent vegetal and earthy notes, restrained green and white fruit, hint of rhubarb, bay leaf, increasingly noticeable mineral notes with aeration. Ripe, tart, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, slightly creamy, polished, integrated tannins, still very slightly muted, vegetal, earthy and herbaceous notes, touch of bay leaf, very good persistence, quite full-bodied, touch of peppery spice, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, prominent mineral and light peppery notes on a very good, juicy, creamy finish.
