Warm, somewhat fleshy, nutty and vegetal to dried-herbal nose of partly preserved dark berries with a hint of Havana tobacco, long pepper and mocha. Warm, firm, somewhat preserved fruit with lots of chocolaty wood flavours, ripe, crumbly tannins, a hint of amaretto, cloves and star anise, good substance and persistence, peppery and chalky tones, some rosemary and thyme in the background, certain depth, has power, very good, again somewhat warm, also a little soft-chocolaty finish.
