Tart, somewhat spicy, nutty and vegetal to dried-herbal nose of predominantly dark berries with a hint of lavender and pepper. Ripe, warm fruit with slightly sooty wood notes, some cocoa and coffee grounds, grilled vegetables and dried meat in the background, sandy, still somewhat drying tannins, good persistence, a hint of camphor and juniper, earthy tones, has power, very good finish with noticeable alcohol and somewhat bitter wood flavours. Becomes juicier with air.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
