Tart, firm, somewhat roasted, nutty and tobacco nose of dark berries with a hint of paprika, medicinal herbs and hints of tomatoes. Firm, tart, rather warm fruit with slightly peppery and leathery notes, some roasted wood aromas as well as a hint of rosemary and sultanas, ripe, quite present tannins, good persistence, certain depth, grilled aubergines and courgettes in the background, also some coffee grounds, very good, slightly earthy finish with a certain bitterness, but also relatively fresh juice.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2034+. What our ratings mean
