2021 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Saziani Grauburgunder Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Clear, firm and deep, quite polished pome fruit scent with fine nutty and smoky aromas, herbaceous-vegetable nuances, very delicate mushrooms and bacon as well as floral traces and a tiny hint of marzipan. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit with fine, lively acidity and grip, delicately smoky on the palate, nutty and herbaceous aromas, hints of dark berries in the background, persistent and dense, distinct minerality, has power, melting and some warmth, but also cooling elements and plenty of tension, very good, tight, juicy, nutty and mineral finish with herbaceous and smoky nuances.
