2019 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Straden Grauburgunder trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very slightly smoky, somewhat vegetal to herbal, slightly bacony and hints of chalky scent of yellow fruits with a hint of mushrooms and red berries. Straight, rather tart, nevertheless quite juicy citrus fruit with delicately sweet melting and a hint of wax, lively acidity, noticeably ripe tannin, good persistence, pepper, juniper and some light wood in the background, noticeable salt, very good, again slightly smoky finish
