2015 Vulkanland Steiermark Morillon trocken Steirische Klassik, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, still slightly reductive and totally closed, vegetal notes, tart yellow fruit, earthy and mineral notes, delicate nutty, smoky and mushroomy aromas. Tart, largely undeveloped fruit on the palate, elegant vegetal aromas, touch of pulses and some smoked bacon, persistent and quite concentrated, becomes more nutty with aeration, reminiscent of tonka beans, elegant, lively acidity, light tannic grip, still slightly yeasty, largely undeveloped, very good finish. Outstanding in its class.
