2007 Carnuntum Göttlesbrunn trocken Cuvée Lukas, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Overripe black berries, cherries and some red berries on the nose, fairly prominent malted notes and bread, earthy and mineral notes in the background, old oak. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe to overripe fruit, malted notes and old oak, fairly fine, partly slightly astringent tannins, very creamy, good persistence and has some depth, quite a lot of substance, still young, light earthy notes on a very good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2018+. What our ratings mean
