Firm and deep, somewhat nutty, smoky-bacon and vegetal, a little reminiscent of peppers and courgettes with pome fruit notes, a hint of gooseberries, bamboo shoots, pineapple, butter and hints of meadow herbs. Polished, firm, juicy fruit with herbal spice, fine root vegetables and slightly smoky wood notes, delicate melting, lively, yet fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good substance and persistence, salty minerality, mussel shells, cinnamon and a hint of seaweed in the background, very good finish with bite.
