2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Flamberg Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm and quite deep, somewhat smoky, slightly nutty and fennel-like vegetal aroma with yellow-fruity and a little yellow-spicy aromas, a hint of laurel and soup herbs as well as mineral tones and hints of yellow spice. Ripe, tart, somewhat warm, melting fruit, nutty tones and dark, almost a little juniper-like spice, again also fennel on the palate, plus black berries and yellow-spicy nuances, again smoky wood notes, mineral, good depth, very good, firm, again ethereal finish.
