wein.plus rating: Excellent (93 WP)
Last reviewed: 5 February, 2019
Editor note: Fairly trart, deep nose, fairly prominent vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, citrus notes reminiscent of mandarines, floral traces. Very firm, but fairly reticent fruit on the palate, tart nutty and dried vegetal notes, prominent mineral notes, peppery aromas, lively acidity, firm grip, excellent substance and depth, still has noticeable tannins and yeasty traces, hint of dark berries, intense mineral notes on a very good, long, firm, ripe, juicy, gripping finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
Best to drink: 2020-2028+
