Editor note: Clear, fairly polished nose, ripe, partly preserved blackberries and cherries, light herbaceous, peppery and dried floral aromas. Clear, elegant, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, nutty oak, hint of tobacco and some dried herbs, peppery traces in the background, fairly cool in spite of the high alcohol level, touch of dark chocolate in the background, hint of bacon, good persistence and substance, good to very good finish.
