The winery is located in the municipality of Eußenheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine growing region of Franconia
. In 1988 Werner Höfling started with the self-marketing. A new cellar was put into operation in 2004. Since 2009 the business is managed by Klaus Höfling. The vineyards comprise 14 hectares of vineyards in the individual locations First (Eußenheim), Stein
(Stetten), Homburg (Gössenheim) and Kalbenstein (Gambach). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Solaris and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Frühburgunder and Regent. The white wines are partly fermented spontaneously
, the red wines undergo the classic maceration
. Premium wines are Domina Stettener Stein (11 months in barrique), the white wine cuvée H Spätlese (Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer) and the bottle-fermented sparkling wine Pinot brut (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, three years of fine yeast ageing). Ice wine
is also pressed in years suitable for the weather. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Grapes Pearls (non-alcoholic), noble brandies and wine jelly
are also produced. The winery is a member of the Franconian Winegrowers' Association and the Franconian Growth Association.
