The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality of Eußenheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine growing region of Franconia. In 1988 Werner Höfling started with the self-marketing. A new cellar was put into operation in 2004. Since 2009 the business is managed by Klaus Höfling. The vineyards comprise 14 hectares of vineyards in the individual locations First (Eußenheim), Stein (Stetten), Homburg (Gössenheim) and Kalbenstein (Gambach). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Solaris and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Frühburgunder and Regent. The individual plots are cultivated individually in a sustainable manner

The white wines are partly fermented spontaneously, the red wines undergo the classic maceration. Premium wines are Domina Stettener Stein (11 months in barrique), the white wine cuvée H Spätlese (Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer) and the bottle-fermented sparkling wine Pinot brut (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, three years of fine yeast ageing). Ice wine is also pressed in years suitable for the weather. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Grapes Pearls (non-alcoholic), noble brandies and wine jelly are also produced. The winery is a member of the Franconian Winegrowers' Association and the Franconian Growth Association.
