2020 Gambach Kalbenstein Silvaner trocken Terrassenlage "Rotherberg", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly developed, somewhat tobacco-like, nutty and bacony aroma of yellow fruit with a hint of dried mushrooms, tarragon and peach skin. Straightforward, ripe fruit with a slight melt, some herbal spice and sesame, fine acidity, noticeable tannin grip, some persistence, fennel and hints of red berries in the background, salty and chalky tones, very good finish with bite.
