2021 trocken "Pinot Freyheit", Burgenland, Austria

Cloudy crimson. Clear, quite fresh red berry nose with herbal and delicate floral nuances, nutty traces and a hint of tobacco. Lean, cool and emphatically tart, finely juicy, fresh fruit, lively acidity and fine tannin, persistent on the palate, herbal and delicately peppery-etheric tones, hints of meat, also salt in the background, lots of life, somewhat chalky texture, very good, rather taut, animatingly fresh and juicy finish with fine herbal and spicy nuances and lots of bite.
