2020 trocken "Pannobile", Burgenland, Austria

Youthful, almost slightly reductive nose, hint of animal, ripe black berries with cherry notes, some smoke, leather and almost cool herbal notes. Ripe, juicy, rather dense fruit with youthful but mellow, almost flattering tannins at first, but then more gripping with air, spicy barrel tones and ethereal notes, a little smoke and coffee on the palate, also a hint of dark chocolate, leathery nuances again, salt and herbal tones in the background, very good, rather juicy finish with partly ethereal spice.
