2020 Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Leithakalk", Burgenland, Austria

Rather restrained, somewhat herbal and hinted smoky scent of bright yellow fruits with a little white and green berries, delicate floral aromas and nuances reminiscent of fennel. Youthful, straightforward fruit with a delicate melt, a touch of pepper and some black berries, almost present acidity, has some grip and good persistence, peppers and mint in the background, salty minerality and some marzipan in the very good finish.
