The winery is located in the municipality of Eisenstadt-St. Georgen in the Leithaberg wine-growing region of Burgenland (Austria). The family business was first mentioned in a document in 1648. The formerly mixed agricultural business was converted to a pure winegrowing business in 1961. Since 1987, only quality wines have been produced. The vineyards cover 20 hectares in the Angerl, Flachgraben, Gartenacker, Jungfrau, Hochberg, Huszarl, Kogel, Lehmgrube, Obere Hurt and Viehtrift vineyards. They are 60% planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah, and 40% with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Natural viticulture is practised with integrated plant protection and fertilisation reduced to a minimum. Quality criteria are weaker-growing rootstocks, thinning and targeted foliage care for the purpose of yield reduction.

After gentle pressing and strong must pre-clarification, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel. Depending on the desired type, the wines are matured in steel tanks, large wooden bar rels or barriques. A special feature is the bottling of individual wines in large-format bottles (1.5 l, 3 l, 5 l, 9 l, 12 l, 18 l). The premium wines include the white wine cuvée "Scheibenberg" (Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc), Blaufränkisch from the Leithagebirge, Syrah, the red wine cuvée "V.T.S." (Vintage Top Select from Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, CS, Cabernet Franc, Syrah), as well as Merlot. Fine brandies(pomace, yeast, wine), frizzante and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Vinology association. Hans Moser has taken over the care of the vine Mater Veltlinis (St. Georgen), the mother variety of Grüner Veltliner, which was discovered in 2000.
